Si nous faisons deux équipes telle qu'elles sont actuellement, il n'y a pas lieu d'envoyer de liste à Suratna sauf si de nouveaux membres s'inscrivent.

For this Club event I have a proposal to simplify the whole club event.

I propose the following:
- all skippers shall follow the LiveSkipper sailing principles for Passion sailing
- all clubs that have sailed lately in club events will automatically be considered to sail the next club event. New clubs have to announce their intention to participate before the start of the race.
Note: to make sure this will not lead to confusion , I consider following clubs already in : BZH, CDT ROT, CFORC, FMV I, FMV II, FRCH, LCT, LSYC
- all club-members as listed in the LS club membership list, are considered to sail the club event as soon the club is sailing.
Note: I have an excel macro that retrieves all club members concerned when they are sailing.
- the one skipper, one boat, one race principle will apply.
- Boat-sitting will be relaxed as club-members should be able to help each other. So Boat-sitting is allowed for a maximum sailing distance of half the race mileage only, such that a skipper shall sail his own boat at least for the half race distance.
-the club-manager may accept additional skippers for a special race, provided that the additional boats are announced on the forum or by PM to Suratna before the start of the race. The maximum number of the club shall not exceed 20 skippers.
Note: FMV have two clubs registered but lately I see some skippers from the I sailing in the II. This is possible, provided that before the start of the race the list of skippers per team is announced.
-Boats that start more then 6 hrs after the start of the race are considered not to participate in the club event.
- The winning club, will be that club with the shortest average time of the first 7 boats that pass the Finish.
- a Club shall have at least 3 boats participating, else it is not considered a club.
- For clubs with less then 7 boats sailing: when a boat is aborting the race a time will be allocated equal to the time of the last boat of the club event passing the Finish ; in this case a club member is allowed to sail the other club boat home considering the boat sitting rule.
Note: this last rule is proposed to prevent a club of e.g. 5 boats , with 3 good positioned boats and 2 bad positioned boats to improve the club average by the 2 last boats aborting the race.

I will start preparing my document based on this and will publish this week.

Note:
-CFORC does not have the 7 skippers yet, any interested to join Question but the results will be averaged anyway.
- SAL Team has so far 2 skippers confirmed. Lets hope that they will recruit some extra skippers as 3 boats is the minimum to participate as a club.

This is a very strong fleet of good sailors, so I hope for a exciting battle all the way Rolling Eyes

Non, malheureusement, mais il n'est pas retiré de l'équipe. En fait Suratna à compté tous ceux qui font partie de l'équipe et le classement se fera en fonction de ceux qui courront la Sunrise automatiquement.
